Opportunities

Military - The Canadian Forces offer rewarding full-time careers in the Navy, Army and Air Force. As a member of the Regular Force you would be part of a dedicated team, working in Canada and abroad to ensure the safety of Canadians and Canadian interests.

Reserves - The Reserve Force offers exciting part-time careers in the Naval, Army, Air and Communication Reserves. As a Reservist, you would support Canada's Regular Force while earning extra income and obtaining new skills.

Civilian - A civilian employee is a federal public servant, employed in a variety of occupations in support of military operations at CFB Esquimalt.  Civilian employees of the Department of National Defence work with the Canadian Forces through their support of military operations, their contributions to the Department’s corporate responsibilities and their work at bases and various regional sites.

Royal Military College - Obtain a Bachelors degree while training for a rewarding career as a military officer.

Apprenticeship - Fleet Maintenance Facility CAPE BRETON (FMF CB) has maintained an apprenticeship training program since 1927 to sustain high standards of workmanship among its trades people. This program is jointly administered by FMF CB and Industry Training Authority, British Columbia (ITA BC). The Apprenticing Program trains workers to a high level of certification.
