Stories differ in police killing, chief says

Federal authorities will investigate the police shooting of an elderly woman during a drug raid, Atlanta's police chief announced Monday. Eight officers were suspended with pay, chief Richard Pennington said, adding the stories being told about the shooting by police and an informant differ. Police say Kathryn Johnston, 88, died in return fire after she shot at them as they tried to raid her house.
