Thank you for the feed back I have received on the first edition of
the Modus Operandi.
As with the rest of NDHQ, we work in MS Word 97 (Version 7) so if you
had trouble downloading the MO with the small graphics,
that may have been the reason. The distribution list has been
created to include two persons from each major section/unit, and it
is requested that the receivers internally distribute the newsletter
to their Military Police personnel. Even after some months, there
are still people who have not had the opportunity to read the
MO. I have endeavored to send a copy to all Regimental MPs,
small MP dets, and all others working separate from the main MP
stream. Whether the MO reaches you by fax or email,
it is one of the few ways I can pass to all concerned relevant MP
information in a timely manner. I hope that this issue will find
its way into the hands of 1170 people before the next edition.
If during the course of your duties you come across a "Lessons Learned"
scenario that would benefit others, please submit it to the editor
and hopefully by publishing it we will all learn from each other’s
experiences.
