Chief Petty Officer Allan Walker

In recognition of exemplary dedication to the values of integrity, honesty, fairness and openness,Chief Petty Officer 2nd Class Allan Walker is awarded the Commendation for Ethics of the Ombudsman for National Defence and Canadian Forces.

Throughout his 22-year career in the Navy, CPO2 Walker has distinguished himself with his dedication to ethics. Leading by example, he has earned the respect of his superiors and subordinates. His nomination was initiated by two of his subordinates on the HMCS REGINA.

CPO2 Walker brings tremendous credit to the Canadian Forces. A true leader, he always puts his subordinates first, and thus has become a role model for those serving under him. Responsible for the development of over 30 personnel, he has shown his subordinates how to achieve a higher standard by being an ethical mentor. Through his guidance and inspiration, he ensures that each individual is provided the opportunity to reach their full potential.

CPO2 Walker is dedicated to the Canadian Forces and, over the years, he has adapted his leadership to suit the newest generation of military members. Thus the CF will continue to reap the benefits of his leadership for years to come.
