Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q:  Are doctrine manuals available in hard copy for distribution?
A:  No, J7 Doc does not distribute hard copies of doctrine manuals. In order to obtain a hard copy, you need to download the document from the J7 Doc web site.
Q:  Why is draft doctrine not sent directly to applicable Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for comment?
A:  In order to ensure that consolidated responses submitted by various stakeholder organizations, distribution of draft doctrine is restricted to CFDB members and their designated reps. It is then the responsibility of those individuals to distribute the draft manual to SMEs in their organization for comment and to forward the consolidated response back to the manual's custodian.
