Era: 15 th century

Situation: The Hundred Years War - This film explores the life of Joan of Arc as a teenager from the time when she received the call from God to lead the French to victory against the English until her execution by the English at 19 years of age, in 1431. The whole issue of how she was able to lead at all is examined. The question of weather it was an affirmed following or that she was in reality a figurehead only is also revealed for consideration.
