To search book resources – for the text sections, images or multimedia – you can use all the search features on the Canadian Military History Gateway www.cmhg.gc.ca.
There are three search paths you can take to discover book resources on the Gateway:
- History Browser – a directory of military history resources organized by topic
- Timeline – provides access to resources by century, decade and year
- Search – search for resources using your specific words or phrases.
The Canadian Military Heritage reference set is published by the Department of National Defence. To narrow your search results for book sections, you can filter your searches by "Organization" selecting "National Defence". In the search results display, the book sections will be identified by the book icon  .
