Biography

Captain Colin Cragg - Operations Support Officer

November 16, 2004

Captain Colin Cragg, 37, is in his first year with the Snowbirds as the Operations Support Officer, formerly called the Logistics Officer. As the son of a former member of the Canadian Forces, he grew up in many locations across Canada, the United States and Germany but calls Ontario home. His responsibilities at the Squadron include managing the Squadron Administration and Finance Section and the Squadron Supply Section.

Capt. Cragg completed a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Western Ontario in 1989. He enrolled in the Canadian Forces the following year under the Direct Entry Officer Plan as a Personnel Administration Officer. In 2001, he underwent an Occupation Transfer to the Logistics Branch.

Capt. Cragg has served in a variety of positions at Canadian Forces Base Borden, Ontario, the Canadian Defence Liaison Staff in London, England, and Canadian Forces Base Kingston, Ontario.

In 2004, Capt. Cragg was posted to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, where he assumed the duties of 431 (Air Demonstration) Squadron Operations Support Officer.
