La Tuque Air Show

La Tuque, Quebec - September 20, 2006

The Canadian Forces Snowbirds were thrilled to participate in the La Tuque Air Show September 21. Flying into La Tuque was magnificent with the beautiful fall foliage and rolling hills. The breath-taking scenery made the show even more spectacular.

While the Snowbirds were in La Tuque, Captain Denis Beaumont, Snowbird 5, and Captain Patrick Gobeil, Snowbird 6, had the pleasure of meeting with Royal Canadian Air Cadets and speaking with local journalists.

The Community of La Tuque welcomed the Snowbirds with open arms, presenting the team with the Key to the City and historically journaling the visit in their Livre D'Or.

After the air show, the Snowbirds had the pleasure of visiting with community members. The Community of La Tuque showed the team extreme generosity and kindness.

The Snowbirds would like to thank Estelle Paulus for her tremendous support to the team's visit.
