October 4, 2006

By Lieutenant (Navy) Petra Smith

Redding, California, U.S.A. - September 30 and October 1, 2006

The Canadian Forces Snowbirds were thrilled to participate in the Redding Air Show September 30 and October 1.

While the team was in Redding, they had the honour of meeting children with the Make a Wish Foundation following their practice flight September 29.

The team also had the opportunity to share their love of aviation with a group of Civil Air Patrol cadets.

During the show, the spectators cheered and clapped enthusiastically as the team performed their high show.

The Snowbirds would like to thank Mr. Bill Wagner, the Snowbirds' Point of Contact, for his tremendous support.
