One Team

The Army’s most important resource is people. Our men and women are highly trained and well respected around the world for their professionalism and versatility.

SoldiersTeamwork is a core value of Canada’s Army. Our soldiers learn to work together as part of a cohesive unit, allowing them to perform challenging and often dangerous jobs.

In Canada, essential support to the Army Team is provided by our 4,200 civilian employees.

Under quality of life improvements, the Army has seen increases in pay for soldiers, enhanced services for families, and progress in our efforts to reinvest in the skills and careers of our people.

Soldier helping an other soldierWhether full- or part-time, male or female, and regardless of race or religion, all our members share one thing in common — they are all part of the Army Team.

People who possess a high level of intellect, skills, and motivation are needed to help lead our team into the future. All Canadians who meet the high standards and demands required of military service have the right to serve their country.
