CF Music and DHH 7 (Ex-CF Mus C)

The Canadian Forces Music Centre (CF Mus C) was formed in August 1994 as part of the Band Branch restructuring under the now disbanded Canadian Forces Recruiting, Education and Training Systems (CFRETS). As of 1997, it is now a sub-section of (DHH 7) and reports to the Director - History and Heritage, ADM(HR-Mil). DHH 7 is a multitasked organization and is responsible for:

• Overlooking the overall management and policies of the Band Branch
• Providing advice and guidance to Commands and other civilian, government agencies
• Monitoring musical standards for the Regular and Reserve Forces
• Providing advice and guidance on human resources
• Providing Co-ordination and Guidance of information related to Band issues.
