Conservation Documentation Research Project
An analysis of conservation documentation methods based on: data from 700 members of the Canadian and international conservation communities, and collections managers in Canadian museums; their practices in recording physical information about objects; and their use of terminology standards. Recommendations are based on an analysis of these and other data found in records in Humanities and Natural Sciences databases, and in corresponding CHIN Data Dictionaries. Suggests new fields, each with a detailed description. Includes a bibliography. (94pp.)
