User's Guide and Terminology

Under the aegis of the Canada-France Agreement, which was created to promote the international exchange of information, a team of researchers and museum specialists from France and Canada selected religious art from the Roman Catholic Church for this two year pilot project. This publication reflects not only the collaboration, but also the historic links uniting the two countries. The work is divided into two sections, the User's Guide, which is an illustrated guide for data entry, and the Terminology Authority Lists, which contain terminology, in a hierarchical format and in a bilingual index, of more than 300 standard terms for religious objects and furnishings, liturgical vestments and linens.
