Urban Multipurpose Aboriginal Youth CentreObjectiveTo create a network of urban, multipurpose, Aboriginal youth programming. Programming provides accessible, Aboriginal community-based, culturally relevant and supportive projects, programs, services and counselling to urban Aboriginal youth, and will facilitate their participation in existing programs in order to improve their economic, social and personal prospects. What is the deadline?The National Association of Friendship Centres, the Métis National Council and its provincial affiliates, and the Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami and its affiliates are to present their proposals to the Department of Canadian Heritage by March 1. Eligible recipients should call the appropriate organization(s) listed below to determine its/their requirements in terms of the deadline(s) for receipt of proposals.
