Three activities for three kinds of groups and every time, a wonderful trip into the 19th century.
The Etiquette Game: Students in grade 5 and 6In a Victorian décor, offer your young people (grades 4 to 6) a different kind of educational activity, one that is as amusing as it is stimulating: the game of good manners as it was played during the 19th century. At the same time, you'll be exploring the life and work of Sir George-Étienne Cartier. Discover a hidden aspect of your students, who will never be quite the same after this glimpse into another world... This program is designed specifically for students
in grades 5 and 6.
What's Up, Mr. Cartier?: Highschool level studentsThe 19th century was witness to progress and major social change. As a politician, businessman and lawyer, George-Étienne Cartier helped shape these developments in Canada as did few other men of his time. Offer your young people the opportunity to explore the many facets of this dualistic historical and social transformation. Of particular note: medical and technological progress, and a behind-the-scenes look at Victorian premarital counselling. This program is designed specifically for High
school level students.
