National Roundtables on Future High Performance Funding in Sport

Between April 6 and 16, 2004, the Minister of State (Sport), along with three of his colleagues held a series of roundtable discussions with key stakeholders in the sport community to discuss how future investments in high performance sport should be targeted.

A discussion paper was prepared and provided a starting point for discussions during the roundtable sessions. The broader sport community was encouraged to respond to this paper by April 23, 2004, and also to complete an online survey, Support of High Performance Athletes, by April 23, 2004.

The report is not an analysis of the discussions but rather a summary of the ideas presented.
