Building Digital Content: A Study in the Selection, Presentation and Use of Museum Web Content for Schools
In beginning to develop website materials for schools, many museum staff find themselves faced with the daunting prospect of vast collections, enormous supporting banks of knowledge built up over many years and the seemingly limitless possibilities of internet technology. Many find it difficult to know where to begin to put this all together to develop meaningful learning resources. This publication is intended to provide museums with inspiration and some timely recommendations based on the experience of web developers, museum staff engaged in internet projects and the teachers and pupils who use such material in schools.
