DescriptionArtsEdNet is an online service produced by the Getty Education Institute for the Arts which is designed for educators involved in K-12 arts education including art specialists, general classroom teachers using the arts, museum educators and university faculty involved in preservice arts education and curriculum materials development. ArtsEdNet consists of two major components: the ArtsEdNet Web site and an e-mail based discussion group called ArtsEdNet Talk. The Getty Education Institute has also created a number of special programs for ArtsEdNet on topics of interest to the target audience. These generally include a special ArtsEdNet Web site exhibition on a topic and related discussions via e-mail among arts education experts, artists, and practitioners.
