Summer Employment at Bellevue House NHSC

Each year, Bellevue House National Historic Site of Canada hires summer staff to work in the Visitor Reception Centre, at the historic house, in the restored garden and grounds, as well as in the administration office and in maintenance. Most positions are staffed from early May to Labour Day.

To be eligible for any of these positions, you must be registered full time at a university, community college, CEGEP or technical institute, and be planning to return to full time studies in the next academic term.

There is now a requirement to register with the Public Service Commission Federal Student Work Experience Program (FSWEP) . Go to www.jobs.gc.ca to fill in an on-line application form. Bellevue House also hires secondary school students for their Young Canada Works program from early July to the end of August. This program is for students aged 16-18 who are currently enrolled in secondary school and are returning to full-time studies in the next academic term. The application process is also located at www.jobs.gc.ca.
