Activities
This charming two-storey Victorian manse is the birthplace of Dr. Norman Bethune, honoured for his heroism in China as a field surgeon and medical teacher. The home has been restored to the 1890s period, the era of his childhood in Gravenhurst Ontario. A visitor centre offers exhibits to illustrate Bethune's life as well as an audio-visual presentation.
