How to Get There

The Chambly Canal runs the whole length of Route 223.

By Car:

From Montreal, take Highway 10, exit 22.
Follow the signs to Chambly or Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, as you wish.

By Bus:

From Downtown Terminus (Montreal) or Longueuil Terminus to Chambly:

The Conseil intermunicipal de transport Chambly-Richelieu-Carignan (CITCRC) offers a public transit service from Montreal/Longueuil to Chambly. There is a bus stop close to the canal at the corner of De Bourgogne and Du Fort streets. From downtown Montreal to Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu:

By Bicycle:

The Chambly Canal cycling trail follows alongside the canal from Chambly to Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. This multipurpose path is part of La Route Verte and is connected to the Montérégiade II, the Montée du Fort-Chambly and the Vallée-des-forts cycling trails.
