    Commemorating 400 Years of Black Presence in Canada

    Special Event to celebrate
    Black History Month and the Launch of the Black Ink Exhibit

    It is with pleasure that the Department of Canadian Heritage, Library and Archives Canada and Images Interculturelles invite you to attend a special event to celebrate Black History Month and to launch the Black Ink Exhibit to commemorate 400 Years of Black Presence In Canada.

    Black Ink is a traveling exhibit that represents the wealth and variety of Black literature in Canada and demonstrates the strong connections and evolution of Black communities from Africa and the Caribbean to Canada.

    The Black Ink exhibit will travel across Canada during February 2006. We invite you to come and enjoy this beautiful collection of Canadian and International literature. Here are the dates and locations where the exhibit will be showcased:
