Ottawa, June 27, 2006 – Flanked by members of the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, officials from the Royal Canadian Mint and Canada Post will officially unveil a commemorative coin and stamp set Thurday, June 29 at 1 p.m. at the Ottawa International Airport.

Snowbirds Visit to the Comox Valley
Monday, April 11th, the celebrated Canadian Forces Snowbirds came to the Comox Valley for their annual spring practice session. The eleven pilots, along with ten technicians and two supply personnel, arrived with their usual panache and proceeded to dazzle the local military and civilian community for the next three weeks.
