Biography

Captain David Boudreau - SB4 (First Line Astern)

November 10, 2005

Captain David Boudreau, 38, from Dalhousie, New Brunswick, is in his second year with the Snowbirds and flies the No. 4 jet in the First Line Astern position.


Capt. Boudreau joined the Canadian Forces in 1989 under the Officer Cadet Training Plan (OCTP). After receiving his wings in 1991, he was posted to 407 Maritime Patrol Squadron in Comox, British Columbia, where he flew the CP-140 Aurora.

In 1996, he was posted to 2 Canadian Forces Flying Training School (2CFFTS) in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, as a flying instructor on the CT-114 Tutor. Capt. Boudreau subsequently transitioned to the CT-155 Hawk, one of the NATO Flying Training in Canada (NFTC) Program training aircraft.

Capt. Boudreau accumulated over 1,400 hours of instructional flying and brings over 5,600 hours of military flying experience to the 2006 team.
