Learning Experiences

Park Heritage Presentation staff bring entertaining and informative programs to the public in the Park and in surrounding communities. Heritage presentation messages focus on protecting ecological health of the Frontenac Arch Biosphere Reserve area and commemoration of local culture.

2006 Programs On Park Islands

Park interpreters offer programs on park islands throughout July and August. Their programs are posted on bulletin boards near island docks.

It is necessary to travel by boat to get to Park islands.

School Programs

The Park education coordinator will be available to provide in- classroom visits and field trips on location in the Park during the school semesters. The focus of school programs is on grades 1 to 10 inclusive. Program content is linked directly to the Ontario common curriculum for public schools.
