Canada Day Youth Award
Celebrating Outstanding Young Canadians
Individuals, schools, colleges, universities, community groups and businesses can nominate a young person 18 years and younger who exemplifies the qualities of citizenship that strengthen our social fabric and enrich our national life. This young person must have made a truly exceptional contribution in any number of areas. This could include, but is certainly not limited to: community involvement, promotion of Canadian values, and environmentally friendly initiatives.
Nomination Rules
- Candidates must be 18 years of age or younger at the time of their nomination.
- Candidates must have made a truly exceptional contribution. A minimum of 100 hours of community service is suggested.
- Nominations must be received no later than MARCH 31 of each year.
- Nominations must be sent to the Celebrate Canada Committee in the candidate's province or territory.
