"Place Concorde will make a big difference in the cultural life of Francophones in the Windsor and Essex area. The Government of Canada's contribution to this project demonstrates our commitment to promote Canada's linguistic duality."

Place Concorde's mandate is to organize cultural, community, recreation and sport activities for approximately 21 000 Francophones in the Windsor, Essex and Kent region.

Financial assistance is being provided by the Department of Canadian Heritage, through its Official Languages Support Programs.
