FAR BEHIND THE SCENES In a continuing look at the Snowbird Maintenance Organization, you will find an organization known as the Maintenance Support Shops. These shops support not only the Periodic Maintenance crew, but the First line servicing crew as well. The organization consists of four major shops.

BEHIND THE SCENES – CANADIAN FORCES SNOWBIRDS This week’s segment will visit the Servicing Section. Often referred to as first line of maintenance, the Servicing Section ensures the day-to-day maintenance of the aircraft and ascertains that the jets are safe to fly on a daily basis.

Snowbirds Visit to the Comox Valley Monday, April 11th, the celebrated Canadian Forces Snowbirds came to the Comox Valley for their annual spring practice session. The eleven pilots, along with ten technicians and two supply personnel, arrived with their usual panache and proceeded to dazzle the local military and civilian community for the next three weeks.
