The home of The Right Honourable John George Diefenbaker, Prime Minister of Canada from 1957-1963. The house was built in 1912 and purchased by John and Edna Diefenbaker in 1947. After Edna's death it became the home of John's second wife, Olive. Olive and John donated the house to the City of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan in 1975 to be used as a museum.

The Diefenbaker House was built in 1912. The house is furnished as it was in the Diefenbakers' day and there are photographic displays of Mr. Diefenbaker's life and associations in Prince Albert. Furnishings and artifacts: den, living room, dining room, office, bedrooms, and a room for presenting the video "DIEF" from the Canadian Film Board. Some furniture pieces had belonged to Sir John A. MacDonald. Note that the majority of artefacts are provided by the Diefenbaker Centre, Saskatoon. Archives Local and regional history of the life of John Diefenbaker, held with the Archives of the Prince Albert Historical Society.
