As is the tradition, in honour of Canada’s fallen Air Force heroes of the Battle of Britain and other air battles, Canada’s Air Force and the Air Force Association of Canada has planned a commemorative ceremony and parade.
The public is welcome to join in the observation of this important occasion which will also feature serving and vintage aircraft flypasts, including Michael Potter’s Supermarine Spitfire, a Lancaster Bomber, a DC-3, 4 CF-18s flying the missing man formation, CC-144 Challengers and CH-146 Griffon helicopters, both with Second World War markings.
