Paintings, watercolours, and drawings offer a visual history of the early days of exploration and settlement in the West. Works include early images of Fort Garry and Norway House, Red River carts and Cree wigwams, explorers like Samuel Hearne and Alexander Mackenzie, and local fauna such as polar bears and bison.

Admission: Adults $11; seniors and students $9; youth (ages 6 to 12) $5; family (up to 2 adults and 4 children under 18) $25; Gallery members $5.
