Alberta Beach (Alberta) Région touristique : Lac Ste. Anne
The Museum, owned and operated by the Alberta Beach & District Museum and Archives Society, is situated in the Village of Alberta Beach, Alberta and was established to tell the story of the founding, settlement, and development of the community in and around Lac Ste. Anne to the present time. The Museum and Archives collect, preserve, research, exhibit, and interpret the historical artifacts that become available to the Museum. We have also developed Heritage Village, a park consisting of heritage buildings from our area which have been restored.

We have several individuals on the Board who can assist people wishing to research family history or events occurring in and around Alberta Beach.

Programmes éducatifs
We conduct tours of the Museum and Heritage Village for school groups, scouts, and other groups, as requested. We plan to develop programs especially geared towards children. During Alberta Beach's Polynesian Days, held during the August long weekend, we arrange for a local artisan to demonstrate his/her specialty (e.g., soap making).

Each summer we host an travelling exhibit from the The Edmonton Art Gallery's Travelling Exhibition Program.

Ouvert : Year round, the Museum is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00-4:00 pm. In July and August hours are 1:00-6:00 pm everyday (closed Tuesday). Heritage Village is open in July and August 1:00-6:00 pm (closed Tuesdays).
