Pitt Meadows Museum & Archives
Pitt Meadows (Colombie-Britannique) Région touristique : Lower Mainland
The Pitt Meadows Museum is located in the Old General Store building on Harris Road. The building dates to 1885 and is one of two designated municipal heritage structures in Pitt Meadows. Exhibits located on the lower level of the building reflect the town's pioneer and agricultural history. A small community archives is located on the upper level. The Museum also operates a second site - the Hoffmann & Son shop, a 1936 machine shop located in Hoffmann Park across the street from the Museum. The Hoffmann and Son site contains vintage machinery relating to the machine shop and an associated drainage business. 62 restored vintage gasoline engines are also housed at the site. Both sites feature hands-on items for children.
Activités "Welcome to My Shop", 01 juin 2004 au 31 décembre 2010, Programme éducatif
