Copps Announces Reappointment to the National Capital Commission
OTTAWA, August 30, 1999 -- Minister of Canadian Heritage Sheila Copps today announced the reappointment of Marcel Beaudry as Chairperson of the National Capital Commission (NCC). The term of the appointment is for seven years."The NCC, under the leadership of Marcel Beaudry, has a vision for our National Capital. The renewal of Mr. Beaudry's mandate will allow him to pursue this vision into the next millennium," said Minister Copps.
