Hi soldiers,
I really appreciate your work. Without you we might be in war in Canada. Thankyou so much for this freedom. I never want to go to go to war. So you are very brave and kind to go. Even though you may die, I thank you very much.

Dear Canadian Forces,
I think what you guys are doing is great because I am a girl and before you were there a girl couldn't go to school or anything. I think it's pretty cool what you guys(and girls)are doing. I feel very badly for the family members and friends of the people who have died.

Dear C.F.
I hope you do a good job in protecting the world against terrorists. I am glad you are peacekeepers, instead of war junkies. Afghanistan sounds like it is in dire need of peace. Keep on going
Brett

I think about you courageous boys and girls of the armed forces.  I am proud of you, of your dedication and your courage.  My cousin is leaving for Afghanistan in February and I feel better knowing that he is going to be with all of you.  My whole family supports you and your family.  Thank you so much and I hope that you will come back here strong and proud...you are what canada is all about

Writing on behalf of the President of the Residents' Council at Rideaucrest Home in Kingston, Ontario.  "we collected a box of goodies for you for Christmas. I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed putting it together for you. There is no snow yet in Kingston only rain that is like tears from the sky for the people that have given their lives to give us freedom from the oppression that they have in that far away country that you are in.  I wish I could be there so I could give you all a great big hug.  I think you are doing such a marvelous job over there. Merry Christmas to all of you from the President of the Residents' Council, Rhoda Goodfellow, please email me: rgoodfellow3@cogeco.ca

Bonjour,
