I was reading the speach by the Comander this morning and i thought it was a good grounding statement for Canadians and you soldiers. His words really define what you guys are dooing in Afghanistan. As a NATO affilate we as a country have a social contract to protect those who fall under that contract who can not protect themselves like children of other families. So when you celebrate christmas know that you are in the rite and that you have full support of all the members of your family business and all those that rely on you for thier safety.
Best Holiday Wishes

Please know so many of us are thinking of you and hoping you will stay safe. You are all making such a huge sacrifice, but, at the same time, touching our hearts and doing every Canadian proud. I will be thinking of you on Christmas Day and hoping 2007 will see you return to your families. Thank you for all that you are doing--for all of us.

We give you wholehearted support to your efforts in Afghanistan.  To rebuild that country and show them the way to manage their affairs other than through wars is most commendable.  Thank you for representing Canada and Canadians. This seems like so very little but we wish you a Blessed Christmas and may the New Year bring all you desire and need. Thanks with all our love
Reg, Loretta and family

Hello everyone:
I hope that you have as best a Christmas that you can have with being away from your families at this very special time of year. Please be assured that we are very proud of our troops, each and everyone of you.  Please remember to let your conscious be your guide.  If it feels wrong, take a step back and think again.  Remember, your actions will carry you through the rest of your lives.
God bless!

Tansi! Canadian Soldiers
(means Hello or Hi in cree) I would like to say,"Merry Christmas and happy New Years". How does the war affect you guys out there? Do you guys or gals talk to the people who live there about their concerns? About the war that's destroying their country? How many troops are thereincluding Canadians? Are there sleepless nights that really bother people? Did the Prime Minster ever go to see the Canadian Soldiers where your stationed? I'd like to thank-you guys and gals doing your jobs protecting the world! Have a Happy Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!!
Best Regards. Carla Singer from B.I.L.T.C

Please accept our sincere thanks for what you are doing for us and for the people of Afghanistan.  Sometimes we think we have problems but when we put it in proper perspective, i.e. having a son or daughter serving as you are, our problems don't appear so overwhelming.
Best wishes for a safe Christmas and New Year.  We hope you all come home soon.
