FUNCTIONS



The Centre provides Bilingual Services and acts as a Resource Centre for members, former members, Regular Force and Reserve, their families, and the Chain of Command. We also:

  • Provide referral and support services
  • Provide support and services to survivors of Members who die while serving
  • Manage a short-term contingency fund for the purpose of providing immediate aids to daily living
  • Manage and analyze the CF Casualty Database
  • Provide a PROACTIVE approach to information and service provision, problem identification and resolution.
  • Co-ordinate FOLLOW-UP SERVICES
  • Administer the CF’s Vocational Rehabilitation and Transition Assistance programs
  • Oversee the administration of the CF’s Service Priority Hiring List program
  • Manage the review and processing of all CF-98, Report on Injuries forms
  • Consult with external associations and organizations mandated to support injured and retired members and their families
