  • HMCS CHICOUTIMI BOARD OF INQUIRY SUBMITS REPORT TO CONVENING AUTHORITY
    The HMCS Chicoutimi Board of Inquiry submitted its report today to Vice-Admiral Bruce MacLean, the Commander of Canada’s Navy, in accordance with its terms of reference to investigate the fires and casualties that occurred on board HMCS Chicoutimi during its transit from Scotland to Canada on October 5.

    The Department of National Defence has awarded a contract valued at approximately $2.7 million to EIDE Marine of Norway for the sealift of HMCS CHICOUTIMI to Canada from Faslane, Scotland.
