FORMER BASE COMMANDER HONOURED
A ceremony was held October 16, 2003 at the CFB Esquimalt Naval and Military Museum to honour a former Base Commander, Captain(N) Tony Delamere who passed away earlier this year.  A plaque was unveiled renaming the honours and awards room at the museum to the Captain(N) Tony Delamere Room.  His wife Joanne and son Matthew who travelled from Ottawa along with many friends and former co-workers attended the event.

November26, 2001 - Arabian Sea: HMCS Preserver refuels the United States Navy frigate USS Ingraham. Preserver is deployed on Operation APOLLO, Canada's military contribution to the international campaign against terrorism.
