Canadian Energy Research Institute

The Canadian Energy Research Institute's (CERI) mission is to undertake objective, independent economic analyses of energy issues and studies of the economic and environmental impacts of energy and related policies on Canada in general and on Canada's international competitiveness.

Centre for Surface Transportation Technology

CSTT conducts engineering research using full-scale facilities and performs field tests of commercial rail and road vehicles as well as pavements. The Industrial Materials Institute is a division of the National Research Council of Canada. The Institute's mission is to promote the growth and competitiveness of the Canadian materials industry through basic and applied research related to materials processing technologies.

Industrial Research & Development Institute

The Industrial Research and Development Institute (IRDI) has been formed as a unique industry driven organization to give advanced technical and research support to Canada's tool, die and mould (TDM) industry as well as the related material suppliers and users of tools, dies and moulds.

Institute of Magnesium Technology

The Institute of Magnesium Technology provides research,development, and technical services in cast and wrought product technologies. The Institute is capable of carrying out projects ranging from small assignments to large multi-disciplinary projects.

Motor Vehicle Test Centre

The Motor Vehicle Test Centre (CEVA) is a test centre owned by Transport Canada and operated by PMG Technologies. It undertakes vehicle tests for automotive research and development programs. It supplies test services of many types to the automobile industry and road transportation sector in general. The CEVA verifies that vehicles conform to Canadian and foreign safety standards.

Materials and Manufacturing Ontario

This organization is a merger of the Ontario Centre for Materials Research (OCMR) and the Manufacturing Research Corporation of Ontario (MRCO). Its responsibility is the sponsorship of university research in both materials and manufacturing.
