2006-04-03 Measurement Canada Issues New Edition of Accreditation Standard and of Delegation of Authorities Standard

On April 3, 2006, Measurement Canada has issued:

• the Accreditation Standard S-A-01:2006, Criteria for Accreditation of Organizations to Perform Inspections Pursuant to the Electricity and Gas Inspection Act and the Weights and Measures Act, and the accompanying guide S-A-01-G:2006; and

• the Delegation of Authorities Standard C-D-01:2006 - Conditions for the Delegation of Authorities for the Calibration and Certification of Standards, Measuring Apparatus and Test Equipment Pursuant to the Electricity and Gas Inspection Act, and the accompanying guide C-D-01-G:2006.
