Welcome to Measurement Canada’s Sector Review information page. Measurement Canada is conducting in-depth consultation with stakeholders in the marketplace sectors in which measurement forms the basis of a financial transaction (e.g. electricity, retail food). These reviews involve extensive consultation with stakeholders to obtain their views and ideas on the role of Measurement Canada, manufacturers, service providers, business and consumers on how measurement accuracy is achieved and monitored in the sector. Measurement Canada uses the results of the sector reviews to implement changes to its programs and services.
