Seniors' Care : Home, Community and
Residential Care Services for Seniors There are many different kinds of services that help seniors maintain their health and independence. If you or a loved one need care, a variety of options, many government-funded, are available. Explore these pages to find out more about the services and settings that are best for you. Care can be provided in your home (Home and Community Support Services) or you can move to a place where care is available (Residential Care).
See the Arranging Care section if you already know what type of service that you need. Your local Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) is the best starting point when looking for care. They are provincially funded agencies that will answer your questions and provide information on care options. Find out more about how your CCAC can help you.
