What You Should Know About The Ontario Employment Standards Act

This is Version 3.0 of the ESA poster. It has updated information from the previous Version 2.0. It is still free of charge to download. The earlier version should be removed from the workplace and replaced with Version 3.0.

This poster provides only a summary of some of the rights and responsibilities under the Employment Standards Act. Please refer to the Employment Standards Act, 2000 and its regulations for more detailed and complete information.

Most workplaces covered by the Employment Standards Act are required to post this PDF poster.

This poster must be printed out on legal-size (8 ½” X 14”) paper. It can be printed in colour or black and white.

Printing Tips
Select Print from the toolbar on your computer. A print window will open. Click on Properties and select the paper size as “Legal”, 8 ½” X 14”. Click OK.
