The Justice Structure in Ontario

Justice is a key provincial responsibility. The Ministry of the Attorney General is responsible for the administration of justice and court services in Ontario. There are several courts in Ontario, including: Court of Appeal for Ontario, Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Justice, and Small Claims Court. The provincial government makes appointments to the Ontario Court of Justice and the federal government makes appointments to the Superior Court of Justice.
