The Economic Outlook and Fiscal Review is a mid-year review of the fiscal plan, as required by the Fiscal Transparency and Accountability Act, 2004. The Act also requires the government to provide:  information about the estimated cost of expenditures that are made through the tax system (Annex V); and, the key issues that should be addressed in the next Budget, along with details about how to participate in the Pre-Budget Cnsultations (Annex IX).

How to Participate in the 2007 Pre-Budget Consultations

The Minister of Finance will be hosting Pre-Budget Consultations with individuals, organizations, associations and other stakeholders across the province as part of the government’s ongoing dialogue with the citizens of Ontario.

The Pre-Budget Consultations provide the opportunity for Ontarians from around the province to share thoughts and ideas on ways to strengthen Ontario’s economic prosperity in advance of the 2007 Ontario Budget.

Below you will find additional information on how to participate in the 2007 pre-budget consultations.

On-Line Submissions

Individuals can also submit ideas for the 2007 Budget by completing a form on the Ministry of Finance website. Follow this link, “Tell Us What You Think”.
