2007 Pre-Budget Consultations
The Ontario economy is fundamentally strong. The economy is still growing and creating jobs; however, we face challenges and risks beyond our control, including a slowdown in the U.S. economy, high oil prices, the strength of the Canadian dollar and competition from emerging global economies.

With fair support from the federal government, Ontario could do even more to strengthen the economy and improve public services like health, education and infrastructure.
These are some of the important issues to consider as the government plans for the 2007 Ontario Budget.
