Marine synopsis for Newfoundland issued by Environment Canada
At 10.00 AM NST Sunday 10 December 2006.
The next scheduled synopsis will be issued at 3.30 PM.

  An intense low pressure system near Greenland will continue to move 
northeastward as a ridge of high pressure continues moving east of 
Newfoundland.  Moderate to strong winds are associated with the 
ridge.  A trough of low pressure over the Maritimes will move across 
the gulf of st.  Lawrence today and Newfoundland tonight.  Strong to 
gale force southwesterlies will develop across the district ahead of 
the trough.  The trough will track across eastern waters on Monday 
and winds will become strong to gale force westerlies in its wake.

  Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are continued for 
all waters.
  Freezing spray warnings are continued for Belle Isle..Northeast
Gulf..Gulf-Port au Port..Northeast coast and the Belle Isle Bank.
