The Information and Information Technology (I&IT) Organization was set up to implement the Ontario government's new integrated approach to I&IT. It is made up of the Office of the Corporate Chief Information Officer and eight I&IT business clusters. This structure is a major departure from the government's traditional approach of organizing I&IT activities by ministry.
Corporate Structure
The new organizational structure is designed to strengthen links between I&IT and the government's business directions and to enhance leadership and coordination at the corporate level and through the line. It will also redefine the scope of government-wide and ministry I&IT functions.
